A first-of-its-kind English translation of the Travancore Cochin Hebrew Revelation — discovered in Cochin, India in 1803, and banned from the canon for 1,600 years. Only 1,600 printed copies were ever made, and every one has already been given away.
For over sixteen centuries, the world only knew the Book of Revelation through Greek manuscripts and their translations. But a Hebrew copy — part of a larger first-century manuscript stream discovered in Cochin, Travancore, India (Cambridge MS Oo.1.16.2) — tells a different story.
The Scroll of Mysteries is the product of a multi-year effort by over 100 trained specialists, scholars, and grammarians at the Benai Emunah Institute, working to transcribe and translate this Hebrew manuscript line by line. What they found were not scribal "errors," as first assumed, but genuine first-century Hebrew idioms, dialectic forms, and even a previously undocumented Hebrew verb form — evidence that this may be a window into John's own Hebrew source, not a translation of a translation.
We printed 1,600 physical copies of this edition and gave every single one of them away.
